Glob the Small Hearted, also known in his human form as Addison Single, is a character in Monster Buster Club.

Description

Addison Single is an extraterrestrial disguised as the life-sized human statue of Singletown's founder who was first busted by the Monster Buster Club two hundred years ago.

Glob the Small Hearted morphed into town founder Addison Single after the MBC stopped him from claiming the town for an alien settlement. He was punished by being turned into a statue, but unfortunately it only lasted for two hundred years. Since he is made of stone, he does not show up on the MBC's A-scan. He holds a grudge against the MBC for turning him into a statue and hates birds because they always perch and defecate on him.

Powers & Abilities

As with most of the aliens in the series, he is capable of transforming his physical form to resemble that of a human. Apart from that, he does not have any additional powers, and thus relies mostly on the statuiser to turn things into stone.

History

Addison Single first appeared in the episode Statue of Limitations, where he was brought back to life when Chris accidentally activated the purple energy crystal statuiser in the Clubhouse secret basement. After pinpointing the source of the purple energy to the MBC Clubhouse, he steals the statuiser from Chris and turns him to stone. He later goes around town turning people and objects to stone, planning to reclaim the town for aliens again.

Sam later uses Mr. Smith's Rhapsodian belly flute to get the doves to attack him and get the statuiser away from him, allowing Cathy to revert him back into statue form. It is later revealed in the episode The End of Everything that he has a son, Nosidda, who wanted to continue his father's master plan in turning Singletown into a perfect place for aliens.
